Awarded to any insurance employee engaged in technology related work under the age of 30 as of 6 June 2025 - and with less than five years insurance specific experience - who has demonstrated outstanding commitment and achievement in their work, and through their quality and professionalism stands out in their organisation as a high performer in the application and management of insurance technology/data.

Awarded for the most outstanding insurance technology project completed during the past 12 - 24 months within an insurer, brand/bancassurance company, intermediary or managing general agent working in the motor insurance space.
This could relate to a product launch, process improvement or use of data/technology that has delivered on the objectives it set out to achieve.
Open to UK-based insurers, brand/bancassurance companies, intermediaries or managing general agents.

Awarded for the most outstanding insurance technology project completed during the past 12 - 24 months within an insurer, brand/bancassurance company, intermediary or managing general agent working in the property insurance space.
This could relate to a product launch, process improvement or use of data/technology that has delivered on the objectives it set out to achieve.
Open to UK-based insurers, brand/bancassurance companies, intermediaries or managing general agents.
Excellence in Technology – Specialist Lines
Awarded for the most outstanding insurance technology project completed during the past 12 - 24 months within an insurer, brand/bancassurance company, intermediary or managing general agent working in a specialist insurance space. This could be personal lines [pet, travel, PMI, gadget etc…] or commercial [professional indemnity, liability, aviation, marine, cyber etc..]
This could relate to a product launch, process improvement or use of data/technology that has delivered on the objectives it set out to achieve.
Open to UK-based insurers, brand/bancassurance companies, intermediaries or managing general agents.
Excellence in AI
Awarded for the most outstanding insurance technology project completed during the past 12 - 24 months within an insurer, brand/bancassurance company, intermediary or managing general agent working with AI.
This could relate to the use of Natural Language Processing, Robotics, Machine Learning or other AI technology that has delivered on the objectives it set out to achieve.
Open to UK-based insurers, brand/bancassurance companies, intermediaries or managing general agents.
Excellence in Social Media
Awarded to a social media campaign that has delivered measurable benefits to the organisation/s that is/are using it. The winner should be able to provide evidence of success in generating profitable new business, reducing churn and/or enhancing customer service utilising the likes of - but not limited to – LinkedIn, Facebook, X [formerly known as Twitter], Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat or Threads.
Open to UK-based insurers, brand/bancassurance companies, intermediaries or managing general agents.
Excellence in Digital Marketing
Awarded to a Digital Marketing project that has delivered measurable benefits to the organisation/s that is/are using it. The winner should be able to provide evidence of success in generating profitable new business, reducing churn and/or enhancing a customer service utilising digital marketing channels and data to deliver on the objectives it set out to achieve.
Open to UK-based insurers, brand/bancassurance companies, intermediaries or managing general agents.
Best Use of Data Analytics
Awarded to data/analytics-based project that has delivered measurable benefits to the organisation/s that is/are using it. The winner should be able to provide evidence of success in generating profitable new business, reducing churn and/or enhancing customer service utilising the likes of - but not limited to - predictive analytics and/or decisioning. The size/cost of the project is immaterial as long as entrants can demonstrate a ROI.
Open to UK-based insurers, brand/bancassurance companies, intermediaries or managing general agents.
Most Innovative Insurer
Covering firms that specialise in B2B business, B2C business or both, this award will reward an organisation that has embraced insurance technology in all its many forms over the last 12-24 months to fully engage customers through an omni-channel approach and enhance their insurance journey.
Evidence of success in generating business as part of a holistic response to the digital shift will be among the key considerations, as will the adoption of an agile culture among its workforce.
The judges will also be looking for evidence of enhanced customer service and contributory factors such as an integrated adoption of tools such as data analytics and/or new technologies such a AI.
Open to all insurers working in the UK market.
Most Innovative Insurer – London Market
Covering firms that work in the Lloyd’s and London Market, this award will reward an organisation that has embraced insurance technology in all its many forms over the last 12-24 months to fully engage customers through an omni-channel approach and enhance their insurance journey.
Evidence of success in generating business as part of a holistic response to the digital shift will be among the key considerations, as will the adoption of an agile culture among its workforce.
The judges will also be looking for evidence of enhanced customer service and contributory factors such as an integrated adoption of tools such as data analytics and/or new technologies such a AI.
Open to insurers, intermediaries or managing general agents working in the Lloyd’s/London Market.

Covering all brokers and MGAs this award will reward an organisation that has embraced insurance technology in all its many forms over the last 12-24 months to fully engage customers through an omni-channel approach and enhance their insurance journey.
Evidence of success in generating business as part of a holistic response to the digital shift will be among the key considerations, as will the adoption of an agile culture among its workforce.
The judges will also be looking for evidence of enhanced customer service and contributory factors such as an integrated adoption of tools such as data analytics and/or new technologies such a AI.

Mixed Awards – Categories open to vendor and insurance companies
Insurance Technology Launch of the Year
Awarded for the most outstanding insurance technology related ‘launch’ of the previous 24 months.
This could relate to a new stand-alone ‘digital’ brand or product, a digital B2C or B2B offering, an insurtech start-up or a new digital subsidiary of an existing business.
Evidence of success in identifying and addressing a gap within the market; of offering something genuinely different and original will be among the key considerations.
The launch may not large in scale or profitable yet, but will need to demonstrate a plan that evidences great future potential for investors and customers.
Open to all – the launch must be no older than 24 months old on the deadline of the xxth
Technology Collaboration of the Year – Efficiency
Awarded for the most outstanding insurance technology project completed during the past 12 - 24 months which help drive efficiencies within an insurance company.
The collaboration might involve an insurer, brand/bancassurance company, intermediary or managing general agent working in partnership with a vendor, consultancy or another insurer, brand/bancassurance company, intermediary or managing general agent.
This could relate to partners working on a product launch, process improvement or use of data/technology to deliver mutually beneficial objectives.
Open to all as long as partnership can be demonstrated.
Technology Collaboration of the Year – Customer Experience (CX)
Awarded for the most outstanding insurance technology project completed during the past 12 - 24 months which helped improve the customer experience given by an insurance company.
The collaboration might involve an insurer, brand/bancassurance company, intermediary or managing general agent working in partnership with a vendor, consultancy or another insurer, brand/bancassurance company, intermediary or managing general agent.
This could relate to partners working on a product launch, process improvement or use of data/technology to deliver mutually beneficial objectives.

Covering all third-party vendors that work in the claims management space, this award will reward an organisation that has introduced a new solution/s during the past 12 - 24 months that has/have resulted in a client/s managing claims more effectively.
