Anthony Gould
Anthony Gould is editor in chief of Incisive Media's Insurance Division, with overall responsibility for five publications - Post Magazine, Insurance Age, Professional Broking, Cover and Reinsurance Magazine. He originally joined Post in January 1999, and became editor in September 1999. He was made editor in chief in 2003. Previous employment includes news editor of The Engineer, UK editor of Vehicle News and deputy editor of AutoTrade.

Chris is a partner and Weightmans' head of transport. He advises motor insurers as well as transport companies/departments in various sectors including bus/coach, logistics, emergency services and the public sector. Chris regularly deals with high value and complex multi track claims as well as acting for clients at criminal prosecutions and inquests.

Craig is underwriting director at Swiftcover, the direct internet motor insurer which he helped found. Craig has held a variety of underwriting and pricing roles during his career. Prior to joining he was head of motor underwriting for all RBS Insurance brands including Direct Line, Churchill, Privilege, NIG and Tesco.

David Cresswell is chairman of the ABP Club (Auto Body Professionals Club) which has 650 members from all sides of the body repair industry. For the last three years he has been in the AM magazine power list of the 100 most influential people in the UK automotive industry. Prior to the ABP Club he was deputy managing director of Audatex for 10 years, followed by 5 years heading up the UK's largest firm of independent motor engineers.

Since Joining Thatcham in 2002, Jason has implemented the parts accreditation programme, led the organisation to the achievement of BS EN ISO 9001:2000 and developed a company wide intranet based quality management system. More recently Jason has taken responsibility for the IT areas of the business, streamlining processes and bringing greater transparency to parts and times data. His current role is as director of quality and IT business systems.

Jon joined Allianz Cornhill as director, claims in 2003. His initial focus was the organisational re-structure for Claims Process Review and the launch of the "Excellence in Claims" training and development initiative. More recently, he has been involved in the Allianz Group Sustainability Programme, a global knowledge sharing initiative which has already delivered significant value through improvements in claims handling practices.

Justin leads the ABI's work to reform the personal injury compensation system, including publishing Care and Compensation in December 2005 to propose radical reforms to speed up the claims process, reduce costs and promote rehabilitation. Justin has also led the ABI's campaign to tackle uninsured driving and in July 2005 published an interim report on Young drivers: road safety and the cost of motoring, identifying that young drivers remain a blot on the Government's road safety record and calling for debate on how best to improve their safety record. Before joining the ABI in August 2004, Justin worked for HM Treasury.

Martin has over 30 years insurance experience and is managing director of MPCI - a market intelligence business which specialises in insurance with its sister company, directexcellence. Previously with L&G, Prudential and ITT London & Edinburgh where he was a director for over 9 years. Roles included underwriting, marketing and running their direct affinity business.

Paul Cooper

Paul began his career with Ford Motor Company in 1969 and then moved to Ford Credit in 1978. 1981-1992 he was Managing Director of Ford Credit/Ford Leasing, firstly in Italy and then Australia/Asia Pacific, followed by a year in the US globalising Ford Credit's worldwide training operations. Returning to the UK in 1993, Paul moved to UDT (TSB) as Regional Director. In January 1999, Paul was appointed Business Development Director. In all of these positions Paul had extensive responsibility for the establishment and developing of TQM and Customer Service programmes and he is a Qualified Assessor for the European Quality Awards Programme.

Richard Davies
Richard Davies
Richard Davies is a career commercial fraud investigator, and has experience of leading investigations in the investments, life, general and healthcare insurance sectors. He is currently employed by AXA UK as its fraud risk manager, working with senior management to identify and scale fraud risks, and to build strategic prevention and detection controls. Richard is a member of the Association of British Insurers Anti Fraud Committee. He is a champion of collaborative approaches and has been closely involved in the definition and set up of the Insurance Fraud Bureau since the concept was first proposed in 2004.
